What is the American Bully?

The American Bully is impressive in both appearance and temperament. They are loyal and affectionate pets while at the same time they will protect your home and your children without hesitation. American Bullies are very intelligent, highly trainable dogs with a strong desire to please. Their energy level is lower than most other bully breeds, which has created a much calmer demeanor that contributes to this breed’s ability to be placed in a variety of environments, most commonly with families. They like to run, swim, hike and play. They are tenacious workers and driven athletes but they are also commonly found being lazy on your couch demanding belly rubs. Although seemingly contradictory, this breed is known to have the most prominent smile while at the same time being able to have one of the fiercest faces when duty calls.
